Elisabel has been in the staffing industry since 1998.
Since then, she has held many positions, from Recruitment to Branch Manager.
In 2007, Elisabel had the opportunity to start Premiere Staffing with Ernie Whitney.
As President, she has been able to expand Premiere to three office locations.
Her expertise and dedication moved her to establish a staffing firm that strives for excellence, trust, and integrity.
Graduating from Northampton Commercial College in 1964 with an Associates Degree in Accounting, Ernie joined Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Co. as a supervisor.
In 1966, Ernie was successful in obtaining a cost accounting position at Buxton, Inc. in Agawam, MA and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Credit Manager.
In 1971, Ernie joined Charpak, Inc. in Leeds, MA as their Credit Manager and was subsequently promoted to Purchasing Manager. At this time, Ernie entered the evening degree program at American International College to earn a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, graduating in 1977.
In 1980, he joined University Products, Inc. as Materials Manager and then became their Operations Manager.
In 1990, Ernie was offered the opportunity to start a new staffing service in Northampton, MA called Dependable Business Alternatives, Inc. (DBA). He was very successful land found this career to be the most rewarding of his working years. In 2001, the parent company restructured and he began a search for an opportunity to own and operate his own staffing service.
After holding a Credit Management position with Mestek in Westfield, MA, Ernie collaborated with Elisabel Rivas, now Sheehan, and opened Premiere Staffing Services, Inc.
Ernie brings his experience to play when staffing their manufacturing and light industrial customers.
